Very cool intro vid. Great idea. I’m just starting to think about how I’m going to do videos. Maybe something like this would be a great start. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hi Tommy,
That was a wonderful introduction and a warm welcome. Oh yes, I have also come out at last ( albeit a bit late…:( ) from the mindset of being selective when socializing with people.
A open mind would be more receptive, you tend to get to know the real being in your friend or rather the “Social Media Friend”, without any prejudice.
I was really impressed with this way of introducing yourself – and wait, am i the first to comment it?
I am basically from a IT background with interests in diverse fields – as diverse as Organic and Herbal Tea / Coffee and Biodiesle – of late.
Happy to network with you. Will send you more about myself over a PM.
Please network with me on Linkedin too!

Hey Tommy – I like your video welcome and your honesty. It makes you take a step back and examine your own thoughts about how you interact with the world. I am from the UK and have been trying to succeed online for 18 months now. Having tried many things and spent lots of money with little success the only thing I am now having success with, ironically, is a completely free opportunity. I sent you a message on Facebook with a link. Hope you have time to view it. Looking forward to getting to know you and sharing great opportunities.

Hi Tommy,
I really like your video and thank you for taking the time. What a great idea. Thanks also for not trying to sell me something on your first tweet!! You’ve no idea how much I appreciate that, almost above all else…
Looking forward to learning more about you. I’m also on Facebook, I’ll look you up there!
Wamest wishes,
LIsa

Hey, I really like your vid. It is much more personal than an autoresponder, etc. I want to make vids but I don’t have a camera and am in between jobs so not in the budget right now. So I have to communicate here. Not using my WordPress blog because I read they don’t monetize. Have to investigate more, using my blog at http://melanionline.blogspot.com and http://livinglife22.blogspot.com. I am in sales but want to build a network marketing company but I do not have a large social network in my real world and want to build my business on the internet. I am a writer so am alone alot. I love online marketing but still learning the ropes. I want to have a profitable Blog like mashable, etc. Trying to find my niche. In exploration mode right now. What do you market? What projects are you working on? Really like the vid again. You are right, you have to take risks to achieve success and there are really wonderful ppl in the universe. I will always believe that even when I meet weirdos.

Love your video. Really nice, honest and open. I love how you talk about how without social media you would not have any idea so many great people exist out here. My thoughts exactly. I had no idea what I was missing by not reaching out to the social media outlets. It has been a blast for me too and I want to continue the ride. I look forward to taking the ride with you and my other social media friends out there too. God Bless

Great Video Tommy!
Kudos to you for wanting to expand your world by getting to know all types of people. This is so new to me, Twitter. I’m just a simple person trying to figure out a complex world, so hopefully I will figure out the video thing. I have a motion eye on my lap top but I’ve never used it. I don’t do texts or have a phone camera. I don’t even have cable TV/satellite or whatever the newest thing is BUT I am now tweeting.
I’m a singer/songwriter and I blog weekly on myspace @ http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendId=307525178 You can hear some of my music @ http://www.reverbnation.com/kristinafurey and even get a free download of my husband and I playing one of our originals live. Besides music, I’m passionate about nature, curious about people and their stories, love children (I have two) and I’m always looking for a reason to laugh because I can be sooo serious at times. P.S. I love to write.

Hello
Nice Idea with the Video.
I have not much English Tweeds, and my blogs are in German, but if you love pictures you can visit http://kunst.ahanit.de Sometimes I have also English Poems from time to time.
I hope you enjoy following me, as I enjoy following you
I have some Videos made myself, but not about me, maybe in the next time.
My Youtube Name is Hanshuran, but I was not there for months, but maybe you like the one Experiment or the other. They are made with the Windows Movie Maker and this program is not really comfortable. Because of this I have not made any Vid in the last time.
We will read each other

Hey Tommy! Great stuff, love the approach. I hope that you are getting some good responses from people. I read some of the comments I see so far on this page and they are great. The bottom line is that people wanting success on line and are not getting it could be simply trying too hard. This video teaches a good lesson…be yourself, be authentic, give something to others. Good form mate. And no I am not from down under but that seemed to fit.
